Dead Island 2 features several Lost & Found side quests that send players across Hell-A in search of survivors, gear, and hidden secrets. Among these quests, "Missing: Nadia" stands out as a unique mystery where the target actually reported herself missing before locking herself away. Knowing where to initiate this quest and how to decipher the clues in the Metro is essential for completing Nadia's tragic storyline.

How to Unlock and Start the Missing Nadia Quest

To begin the "Missing: Nadia" quest, players must head to the Sterling Hotel located in Ocean Avenue. Check the missing persons notice board inside the safe zone after reaching the late-game main story missions in Hollywood Boulevard. Picking up Nadia's missing poster officially triggers the quest and highlights your next destination in the Metro.

Unlike standard missing person quests, Nadia created her own notice after sustaining a zombie bite. She barricaded herself inside a locked room in the Metro station to protect others from her impending transformation. Players seeking comprehensive walkthroughs and daily gaming news can easily track these side objectives to maximize their progression rewards.

Locating the Four Door Code Digits in the Metro

Upon fast traveling to the Metro Utility Storage area, head toward the marked search area to find Nadia’s locked door. Next to the door keypad, you will find a map left behind by Nadia indicating four clue locations scattered around the tunnels. You must explore the dark subway corridors to inspect each digit painted in blue spray paint.

The four digits are spread across different sections of the underground complex, including inside a subway car ceiling and on various support pillars. Inspecting all four numbers automatically logs the code, meaning you do not need to manually memorize the combination. Once every digit is discovered, return directly to the locked door to gain entry.

Defeating Nadia and Claiming Your Quest Rewards

When you approach the door with the complete code, Nadia will burst out as a powerful Screamer apex variant zombie. Interrupt her vocal attacks quickly using heavy melee strikes or ranged weapons to avoid attracting additional nearby undead hordes. After eliminating Nadia and her surrounding allies, step inside her final resting place to gather her remaining journals.

Inside the room, collect the journal entry on the shelf and open the lockbox named Nadia's Thank You in the corner. Completing this quest grants 2,500 XP along with the Superior Ranged Impactor Mod and a rare Tactical Sword. This valuable reward makes completing Nadia's quest well worth the detour through the subterranean tunnels of Hell-A.
