Hogwarts Legacy features a vast open world filled with secret treasure maps, tricky puzzles, and hidden gear for adventurous witches and wizards. Among these side activities, the Solved by the Bell quest stands out as one of the most memorable musical challenges in the game. Completing this objective requires finding a hidden parchment, deciphering a musical stave, and playing a familiar melody on a set of ancient bells.

Finding the Musical Map in Henrietta's Hideaway

To begin this quest, players must first travel to the southern reaches of the world map in the Manor Cape region. Deep inside Henrietta's Hideaway, players need to navigate past several block-and-cube door puzzles using spells like Incendio and Glacius. After defeating or sneaking past the local Ashwinders, you can find the Musical Map resting on a side table inside a hidden room behind a movable wall.

Locating the Bell Tower at Clagmar Castle

Once you possess the map, your next destination is Clagmar Castle, situated near the center of the Clagmar Coast. You can easily reach this location using a broom or fast traveling directly to the local Floo Flame. Near the western edge of the castle ruins, you will discover a large wooden structure holding nine hanging bells arranged in two vertical rows.

Striking the Bells in the Correct Sequence

Solving the puzzle requires targeting the correct bells using your Basic Cast spell to play a specific musical pattern. The correct order to strike the bells is: bottom right, third from top left, second from top left, second from top right, third from top left, top left, top right, and finally second from top right. When performed correctly, the bells will ring out the classic Harry Potter main theme song.

Quest Rewards and Final Unlocks

Successfully playing the melody causes a magical treasure chest to materialize right next to the bell platform. Inside the chest, players receive the exclusive Treasure-Seeker's Longcoat gear appearance. Completing the quest also awards 400 Galleons and 180 XP to boost your overall character progression.
